Fire in Dior

So earlier this week I finally saw the Dior Summer Collection....

What a disappointment as far as the shadows go and the two bronzer's were equally as dismal...

The new lipgloss jelly's feel amazing on and I mean really amazing, I even coerced the Beast into trying one much to Judy's amusement. Very silky and very balmy and very, very sheer and soon very gone as they tend to invite smooshing your lips together because they just feel so good!

However there is one amazing lipstick that pretty much made up for all the other non-lovely sadness...

This is Fire and it is amazing, the color is everything summer should be... a minimal eye a flushed cheek and this tube of glorious loveliness and I am satisfied.

Fire is awesome with Rock & Republic All Nighter.

They are complete soulmates...

I will say one think in the defense of the Rosy Tan shadow quint, there is a rather lovely purply, browny, sparkly color that caught my eye but I felt I has seen it somewhere. I had in my Lancome Bronze Midnight palette.

 I was able then to cobble together a slighly bobo ode to Dior summer done with some things in my stash and with the Fire lipstick I don't feel like I totally passed the summer collection by.

MAC Lovelies & Rules Failure....

I love lipsticks and lipglosses. 

There I said it, it is incredibly difficult to resist the siren call of a lovely tube or wand of glorious color...

Throw pots and pans of color into the mix and resistance is futile. 

I simply love makeup!

I picked up Sandy B through B2M (upper) and while it is a fairly older member of MAC's collection it was completely new to me and I think it is the most glorious color and will be so lovely for this summer's savage look 2.0....

Ever Hip (lower) is just to die for lovely and I am completely thrilled to have it. I also bought Fresh Daisy to use as a highlighter, it is a completely lovely whitened goldy shade and is just too cute with the embossing!

I thought perhaps it might have been an April fool's trick that I played on myself but a few weeks on and I remain satisfied. After the arrival of the longed for Safari palette I thought I might take some pictures and enjoy the feeling....

At Long Last Sleek Safari...

When I first discovered Sleek I became obsessed with the LE Safari Palette...The name alone was enough to warrant lust and with the colors and swatches I saw online I was left pinning away. I was fortunate to finally find it and not too terribly priced, today it finally arrived. I am so very happy and dare I say over the moon?

What a glorious palette of loveliness!

Dior Diva 2011 - 1000 Point Level

I came home to find this lovely parcel on my doorstep...

I am so in love with the case, it has a brush holder in the lid and the top compartment has a removable divided tray, The bottom compartment is rather large as well. I love how it appears to be some sort of sturdy plastic under the black exterior. So many times these cases are just covered cardboard. I probably could mange to squeeze my entire collection of Dior if I wanted to store it that way or wanted to bring it all with me....

Earth Reflection is a lovely neutral palette that I have never purchased but I am thrilled to finally have it. The pink gloss has the nifty rotating does foot and I always love a new mascara...The skincare samples never really capture my attention, however I am so happy to have such a generous sample of the One Essential.

I think Dior is beyond lovely for offering such an amazing rewards program...

Resolution Failure...Lip Addiction

With every good intention I meant to curtail my lipstick, lipgloss and lipwhatever purchases this year. However I am powerless to the lure of all the lovely colors....

I really tried to at the very least buy colors that were not already in my collection in some form....

I console myself that two of the Dior colors were given to me.  I do pat myself on the back that I resisted  the new Chanel shines, they were just really awful on and I could not justify even Boy in honor of the beast child...

O well they are happy here with me and I love each and every one.

Stash Satisfaction...

I am semi-amazed to say that I am stash satisfied...

A rather amazing way to feel, while I do have lust in my heart for some pieces from the upcoming summer collections the desire to ramble through the make-up counters is satiated...

I will therefore laze about and throw a bit of food to the summer collections just to keep them alive...
